Become one of the first 100 pilot firms for LexMap
Bring a real case file. Help us build the tool meant to manage it.
LexMap is opening a pilot phase reserved to an initial group of 100 criminal-defence law firms.
Selected firms will be able to use the platform free of charge, for up to 6 months, working on their own case files and engaging directly with the team that builds LexMap.
The goal is not to run a simple product trial. The goal is to test in the field how technology can help defence counsel understand, organise and govern criminal case files that are increasingly large and complex.
What we provide
Firms admitted to the pilot will have:
- free access to LexMap for up to 6 months;
- assistance while using the platform;
- support in starting their first case files;
- early access to new features developed during the pilot;
- a direct channel to the LexMap team.
What we ask
We are looking for firms that will genuinely use the platform. During the pilot we therefore ask for availability to:
- use LexMap on one or more real case files;
- report issues, needs and missing features;
- take part, as a guideline, in roughly one hour-long meeting a month with the LexMap team;
- contribute, through hands-on experience, to the evolution of the platform.
Which firms we are looking for
The pilot is aimed mainly at firms active in criminal defence. Firms working on the following will be of particular interest to the program:
- medium-to-large or complex case files;
- proceedings with numerous suspects or defendants;
- proceedings with multiple counts of indictment;
- investigations marked by a high number of documents and exhibits;
- proceedings where reconstructing the links between people, facts, documents and sources of evidence is a significant part of the defence work.
You do not need to be a large firm. What matters more is the complexity of the work involved.
How to apply
Applying is deliberately simple. We do not ask you to fill in long forms: a few details about the firm and the case files you would like to pilot LexMap on are enough.
Firms considered the best fit for the pilot phase will be contacted for a brief introductory meeting.
We are not looking for beta testers
We are looking for firms that want to change the way they work on the case file.
LexMap will be all the better the more it is built starting from the real problems of the defence. That is why the first pilot firms will not simply be early users of the platform: they will be part of building it.
